My inspiration comes from the intrinsic possibilities of the materials I use, but is also deeply rooted in the local and natural environment. The subject matter of this  bright, colourful, fun painting lends itself to creating the planned, controlled images of the fish, combined with the free exploration of the silk paints in the background. The two techniques complement each other and show the versatile possibilities of painting on silk.
