STYLE: Abstract 

Art plays a huge part in my life. I have been painting for over 30 years and am a member of Tralee Art Group. During that time I explored many types of media and techniques…pencil, charcoal, pastel, clay, watercolour, acrylics, printmaking, mixed media and installations. However, my favourite technique is painting on silk. I’m a self-taught artist using this medium and enjoy the possibilities for experimentation. The exploration of colour is a dominant theme in my artwork. For me, it is the visual element that defines our world and our moods. It influences and inspires, calm and soothes, uplifts and enriches.
