Acrylic (Fenit) Landscapes

Discover the joy of creating your own Irish landscape! In our Joyful Landscapes Workshops, you’ll learn playful painting techniques using fingers, palette knives, and household tools — no experience needed. Enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, guided step-by-step as you paint your own vibrant beach or wildflower scene on wood to take home. A perfect way to unwind, get creative, and have some fun!

Needle Felting

Join us for a calming and creative morning of needle-felting — a relaxing craft where soft wool fibres are sculpted into beautiful textures and shapes using a special felting needle. You’ll design and create your own unique wall hanging, inspired by nature and the Irish coastline. No experience necessary — just come as you are and enjoy a mindful, hands-on workshop filled with colour, creativity, and great company. You’ll leave with a piece of art you’ll be proud to display!

Sunset Oil Painting

Capture the glow and atmosphere of a coastal sunset in this oil painting workshop with artist Olena Shulgina. Inspired by dramatic skies, reflective water, and changing evening light, this session focuses on creating mood, depth, and harmony in a sunset seascape.

Olena will guide you through layering, colour blending, light and reflection, and building a sense of distance and movement. You’ll learn how to balance warm and cool tones and soften edges to create a flowing, expressive painting.

Suitable for beginners and improvers alike. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your own finished sunset painting inspired by sea and sky.

Watercolour Landscapes

Join experienced watercolour artist Martyn Bell for a relaxed and inspiring landscape workshop. Drawing on his own atmospheric style — with soft washes, layered hills, water and expressive skies — Martyn will guide you through the core techniques of watercolour painting.

You’ll explore colour mixing, tonal values, layering, and wet-on-wet techniques, learning how to create depth, light and mood while allowing the paint to flow naturally. With 13 years’ experience working closely with Pauline Bewick, Martyn brings a calm, supportive teaching approach suited to beginners and improvers alike.

All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with new skills and your own finished piece.

Oil  Pastels Landscape
