About the Painting
When you live near Limerick, sunny days often lead to one of two destinations: Lahinch or Ballybunion. I fell in love with the latter. The castle towers over the rocks, shifting in colour as the clouds move across the sky, while the cliffs unfold into caves carved by time and tide — beautiful, but demanding respect. I spent the entire day walking, stopping, and observing the beach from every possible angle. In the end, it was the view from inside the largest cave that sparked this painting: a frame of stone opening onto light, movement and endless sea.
