About the Painting 
Inspired by Muckross Abbey ruin and the Neolithic settlements of Lough Leane Lake, Killarney, County Kerry. A still lake flows quietly from the ancient ruins, dissolving the boundary between landscape, memory and myth. Past and present merge into a single landscape.
