GIULIA COLI
LOCATION: Patrickswell, County Limerick
STYLE: Divisionism
Giulia Coli is a painter based in Limerick. Originally from Italy, she studied art there before continuing her development through masterclasses in Ireland. Working primarily in acrylic and oil, her practice is rooted in a deep connection with nature and landscapes, reflecting on both the appreciation of what we hold in the present and the fragility of what may be lost.
Her work is distinguished by a personal interpretation of divisionism, a textured and deliberately slow technique that allows space to absorb and process the subject. She is currently exploring ways to merge her en plein air painting experiences with her studio practice, aiming to capture both the freshness and immediacy of working outdoors and the depth and contemplative study that defines her studio technique.
